This generally involves an examination and cleaning. During the examination, we will first check your teeth for tartar, plaque and cavities. For the cleaning phase, we use a scaler to remove plaque and tartar build-up. A high-powered electric toothbrush and gritty toothpaste are then used to clean the teeth. Finally, we floss the teeth.

X-rays can form an essential part of a dental care treatment plan. While they are diagnostic, they can also be preventative by helping us diagnose potential oral care issues in your mouth before they become a more serious problem. X-rays help detect cavities, help diagnose gum disease and check the health of tooth roots and the bones surrounding teeth.

We know how important it is for children to get the best dental care. We treat children with the utmost of patience and explain oral hygiene to them in a fun way. We recommend that you schedule your child’s first dental appointment as soon as their first tooth erupts. We offer child-specific services, such as fissure sealants and fluoride treatment.

Common problems in elderly patients include missing teeth, darkened teeth, and gum. We provide regular oral hygiene visits, removable or fixed prostheses and any other special needs that an older person would require.
